Personally, I'd go with an overgrip a different color. Probably red. Possibly blue.

I prefer the predominantly black look but white is a nice change.

I'm digging the white frame (more like my K's), but the matte is cooler. I just could live without gold in the hoop. But who cares about what it looks like as long as it plays well. I've only spent 45 minutes with it so far but at this point it's everything I'd hope Wilson would give us in a tour 90. To me it feels somewhere between the K90, St V. PS 85, and BLX90. The weight distribution has changed - you can feel it in the throat and this was a welcome treat on my 1hbh, volleys and serve. The racquet hit much like the K90 in that I had no problem flattening out my groundstrokes. Given the fact that the tension on the brand new demo (NXT 16) arrived at 46lbs, I was amazed by the level of control. The BLX90 in comparison...when synth gut drifts to around 50, it turns into a rocket launcher with very little accuracy.

The thing that most concerns me about the racquet are the reviews that point to a flaw in the handle/amilfeel system. Also, did you notice when Stefan played Tsonga, he shook his racquet and then bent it over his knee (looked like he was seeing if it was cracked)...and he did this on two different occasions that I saw. Bummer! Hopefully they've fixed the issue or they're in the process of fixing it b/c this stick is the real deal! And I must admit since I'm not a fan of the original BLX, part of me was prepared not to be impressed at all!

I simply wanted people to see this racket in action for the first time, in the hands of Federer. It's an ugly racket...well, it's a metrosexual-esque racket. But in time we'll get used to it.

I'll buy one eventually, for the sake of completing the collection. Just a matter of when.

Agreed. Totally metrosexual. Fits nicely with that big white Wimbledon man-purse he totes.

I just saw one at my local shop... as ugly in person as they are in person.

Red is a good color. The problem is that it's the wrong shade of red. This is pink-red. A glossy pink-red at that. I reminds me of glossy red lipstick girls wear. The Tour 90 series are supposed to be for men. This PS BLX 90 is equivalent to a pretty boy...visually attractive to some, but in a feminine way.
