    Volkl C-10 Pro?

I'm looking for a racquet that plays and feels like the PT280 but with a 16x19 string pattern.

I like the feel, the swingweight and the heft behind the 280 but I don't like the way the 18x20 pattern feels. I've even dropped the tension down to the low 50's but still don't like the firm feel of the 18x20 string bed.

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

Yes, try the C-10 pro midplus.

The closest equivalent to me is the out of print Yonex RD-7. I found the upper hoop of the C-10 far less forgiving and its entire head flexes like crazy. For me, the C-10 also did not give a really heavy sensation on contact, like the stick is just plowing through the ball.

Dunlop 300g with enough lead tape to bring it up to weight specs would also get you pretty close I think.

I don't think so. I have a 300g at the same weight and balance as a tour 10mp (about 335 grams) and the 300g at that weight is a lot more powerfull for me...
