here is a big job i just finished up !!

Purdue Mens and Womens coach hired me to do some action collages for thier team..

what do you think? Coachs and players were happy with them, now they are printed on 14 x 11 photo paper and hung on the new purdue indoor practice facility.

No, cognac. You might be mislead by the fact that there is a VSOP Fine Champagne Cognac. The quote below explains what Champagne means in this case.

Based on the soil features described by the geologist Henri Coquand in 1860, 6 Cognac growth areas (or crus) were delimited and then ratified by decree in 1938: Champagnes (Grande and Petite Champagne), Borderies, and Bois (Fins Bois, Bons Bois, and Bois à Terroirs), which received these names when the fields were first cleared at the beginning of the 19th century. The Champagne and Borderies center growth areas are most productive.

Yah- if you actually ever drank Remy Martin or even just have seen the bottle, you would not mistake it for a the bubbly type of Champagne.

i thought about moving the serve motion over to the right side, but then you don't see the racket, so it doesn't look as good.

so i left it right there.

funny you say that, nobody else has stated that..

    thanks for looking though..

The Purdue Invatational is going on right now, playing my favorite team, Tulane. Remi, Stephanie, Jennifer and Anna all won, but Lindsay Dvorak beat Michelle Sammons.

I think the main problem is that there's no symmetry in the positioning of the images. In some, all figures are directed to the one side, in others they aren't. My personal feeling is that images should move left to right (that's how we read). In that regard the Paul Foley set works perfectly but the Kay Kay Magi doesn't as in her first picture she's leaning out to the left but in the other two she's leaning to the right. The eye is conditioned to 'reading' (we read images, same as we read text) left to right. So, when we get images that mix their positioning, they're less effective.

The way around that is to use a central image which faces out to the 'reader' and two images to the side of it which point towards each other. To achieve that you could position, on the left side, a (assuming he's right-handed) shot of the player hitting a forehand and, on the right side, a shot of them hitting a backhand. That provides symmetry and makes it more pleasing to the eye.

    Andrew the legend..

i totally apreciate your feed back, and viewing of the photos..

you have to know this: the out put is what the coachs wanted.. so with my regards to produce the out put desired by the paying coachs, i have no input.

    my style is this:

    http://phamphotos.com/Collages/USTAmain.html

those are what i would have done.. but the they wanted 3 figures in the collage..

    best
