For those of you who have played with this racket or are currently playing with it, how do you string them and what kind of weight have you added (if any) and where?

    Thanks.

I'm currently not playing with it as I've changed to a Volkl frame, but my Pure Controls were indeed modified. I removed the bumper guards to make them more headlight (and because the bumper guards annoyed me... they were bad quality and gravel got stuck between the bumper guards and the frames regularly). As for strings, BB ACE 18 was the string that I mostly used, strung at lower tensions. This is a nice frame, i.m.o.

I've added 12 grams of Babolat leadtape to my Babolat Pure Control Team Standard - 2x3 grams at 3- and 9-o'clock each so the total weight of the racquet is 354 grams. The new swingweight is now 340.

BTW after adding the lead the racquet have become much more stabil and powerful - plays with solid sound strokes and drives through the ball much more powerful and clean - it's a dream now and has totally different feel. Comes highly recommended!

Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power Rough @29kg and no dampener for extra feel.
