Pure Drive Cortex vs Pure Drive GT

Is there a big difference between the Pure Drive Cortex and the Pure Drive GT? Do you think it would be fine for me to have a Cortex as a back-up and the GT as my first racquet or are they too different?

I wouldn't recommend it because they do feel so different. I used to play cortex's.. Now got a gt and if I stay with the pure drive's I will be getting rid of the cortex's because they feel more hollow and less stable than the new version.
