I've been a Yonex user all my stringing life. I prefer 2 piece stringing. I'm not sure if I'm reading the schematic correctly:

    1) Is the first pull on the mains at the top/head of the racquet?

    2) Are they suggesting starting the crosses at the bottom of the frame? (The numbering system is odd.)

    Thanks!

You are correct and what makes it even stranger is the pattern shows both the one and two piece patterns.

Thanks for the reply. I'm happier starting crosses at the top.

BTW, I see 4 tie offs in the diagram? How could that be one piece.

Look closer at the top right of the picture. There are dotted lines for two piece that lead to the knots. If you look the right outside main feeds the bottom cross to string one piece negating the need to tie off the right outside main and the bottom cross.

FWIW Babolat allows you to string bottom up one piece but they recommend all their rackets be strung two piece.

Ah I see... not used to 1piece. Glad they recommend 2 piece. I'll stick w/ what I know.

    Thanks
