A PST GT 2011 demo that I have is 334g or roughly 11.7/11.8 oz. That's in line with another major online retailer and Babolat's official unstrung spec assuming string is about +0.5 or ~14-15g (a reasonable assumption for 98" open pattern).

One TW database shows 340g or 12oz while the product listing shows a whopping 12.1 oz, almost half an ounce heavier than the demo!

I know TW data is often problematic so a question for PST GT owners: is this thing generally closer to the spec weight of 11.7 to 11.8 oz or 12.1+ ounces?

I ask because 12.1 is right on the edge of what I find comfortable while 11.7 or so leaves me some breathing room, especially with the addition of comfort grip and overgrip...if the PST is really 12.1 stock And the demo is an unattainable fluke Then my grip and OG would push it beyond my reach.

^Seems like you got one that's pretty much right on spec, according to Babolat.

Remember, TW takes an average of a handful of frames. So my guess is these tend to be on the heavier side of the manufacturer's accepted tolerance of +/-7grams, which leaves room for error of up to 14grams.

If you do end up ordering, just ask for ones that are at the 320g unstrung range.

I have 2 of the GT 2009 and 1 of the 2008 non-GT. All three weigh in at around 315-317g unstrung and around 335g strung with an overgrip.

That's all great news! A local chain happily measures frames for customers for free. You can either drive to the store with the right one or they transfer to the closest store.

When we bought a couple of PSLGTs last year we saw big variations in the stock in both weight and balance...as much as 18g lightest to heaviest.

I'm going to look for the lightest one available so maybe something as low as 313g Unstrung isn't out of reach in light of my PSLGT experience.
