    Hi guys,
I'm interested in this racquet as I believe it might be an option to my mg radical mp with more plow and power. But looking at the specs in your site seems to be too heavy for my liking 343gr.
On the other hand on Babolat site it's listed as 320 gr unstrung and I believe that 23gr is too much weight for strings.

So which is the real weight of that frame and how would you compare it with the mg radical?
    Thanks

Babolat, and most manufacturers for that matters, gives almost always the unstrung weight. While TW gives the strung weight.
Basically, you take the unstrung weight, add 20-25 grams for the strings, 10 grams for the grip (up to 25 if it's a leather grip), 5 grams for the overgrip, and a handful of grams for an eventual dampener, maybe some lead tape too, and there you have the actual weight of the racquet. So if you have a 320 grams racquet unstrung, the actual weight is likely in the 350's. While your MicroGel is most likely in the 320's or lower (not much lower) depending of what there's on it, despite the announced 313 grams strung by TW.

And the Pure Storm line is kinda a "player's racquet", control oriented line. You're not going to have lots of power out of it. If you want something with more plow through, you better watch the likes of the Aero Pro Drive if you stay with Babolat around the same weight. You should try it first since it doesn't play the same despite the similar weight, really.

Add 15-20 grams for the strings and 5 for the overgrip is more usual. So a 335 BPST is possible, although I don't have one.

If you definitely want to stay under 340 I find that 315 unstrung is the best bet, but there are fewer racquets at that weight and below.

You're not wrong. It also depends of the type of the string: co-polys are heavier for example.

    My point is
Volkl O10 is 325 unstrung according to Volkl --> 343 strung on TW site
TFight 320 is 320 unstrung according to TF --> 337.36 on TW site
PS LTD is 320 unstrung according to babolat site --> 337.36 on TW site

That makes sense since strings are about 15-20 grams.. then I look at the PST and I find that
PST is 320 unstrung according to Babolat site --> 343 on TW site

That is what doesn't make sense to me.. I believe the earlier version of the PST ( the pure control) was heavier than the current one and may be that the site is not updated.. that's why I would appreciate if someone can verify it.

    Thanks!
