What in your opinion makes a good stringer an excellent stringer and what makes and excellent stinger one of the very best.
It seems a few are looked upon as masters but is it more because of the clients they have or tangible differences?

I am always intrigued with people who are the best in their field and take pride in their work.
What do you all look for?
    What stands out?

    Thank you

Quality control; consistency. And then something I would term *responsive* stringing, stringing that actually takes the player and his need into account.

People who enjoy stringing, and who are concerned with doing the best reasonably possible job EVERY time.

They are very easy to spot. When people like this get a lot of experience, and have refined their techniques over many years, they are very, very good stringers.
