I recently obtained a Volkl Quantum V1 OS. The first time I used it it felt a bit "tiny". I'm not a racquet tech guru, but I suppose this could be due to its relatively light weight (10.5oz) and also being 5 pts headlight. The swingweight is only 309.

I tried adding a total of 9 grams of lead tape at the 3 & 9 positions in the hoop. After this it played much better for me.

Based on the data given above, I'm curious as to what the racquet's balance point is now and what its swingweight is? I did a few searches but I couldn't figure it out for myself.

9 grams added at 3 and 9 would increase swingweight by about 18 kg cm^2 and shift the balance point by 2 or 3 points.

    Thanks, Steve.

I just noticed that this racquet, which I purchased used off of ****, is only 27" long. TW's Racquet Finder page shows the Quantum V1 OS as being 27.6" long. Is the info on the Racquet Finder page incorrect or did I get a Quantum V1 OS that someone shortened at some point??

Are you sure you got the O.S. (110) and not eht MP (102)?

They are 27.6 and 27.0 respectively.

Hmmmm..... Perhaps someone did shorten it? That might explain the
"tinny" feeling, as the QV 1's are anything but tinny!?

I think I'll just contact the seller directly to see what the story is.
