Seems strange if he simply forgot. What's he playing with anyway?

Querrey’s competitive psyche was in even worse shape after another lackluster loss in which the normally laid-back Californian fought himself, fussed with his Prince frame and dissolved in a frenzy of errors.

Meanwhile, a disconsolate Querrey gave a glimpse into his level of frustration by picking up his racquet bag yet leaving his frames behind.

I understand he left them there because Davydenko wanted to try them.

I hate that for Querry. He basically seems like a nice guy. I think he is totally out of touch with what his levels of expectation should be at this point.

what is his level of expectation ?? nobody knows. should he be a top 10 player at this point ? I dont think so. He has kind of become modern day Roddick. and he forgot to develop his netgame.

Andre Agassi after one bad loss left the stadium and gave his rackets to a group of homeless guys.

    /thread! well done sir!

i too hate the querry is in a funk right now. seems like a really nice guy who's put together some good runs together at one week events before.

i guess based on seeing that, i could see is career trajectory topping out around 15-20 on the atp tour. i don't see a slam trophy in the cards for him but i could see him with a couple of qf and maybe even a sf under his belt (but he'd need some serious help for that). i could see him winning a number of 250s and a few 500s but i think that's pretty much it.

    French Tennis Mafia Fever?

Yes, boss, it's the string! It's a Blast, for a while. But, like a Blast-off, what goes up must come down. His TC bagcheck, if current, shows he's another victim of the black fever from the French Tennis Mafia. Sam, try some SP Tornado instead!

I don't understand all the commotion about him switching string. If he doesn't like the string, then change it.

Personally I think he did very well last year and now the general, week to week expectations have risen and he is struggling. For me he is decent but nothing more than top 20

Supposedly he is using the "lite" version of the EXO3 Tour. I don't know if that is actually true, but if it is, there must be nothing less than a brick of lead in each of them!

I believe he's still using his old O3 Hybrid Tour racquet, the same one he'sused for years. Very different specs than the EXO3 version PJ. Here's a recent picture.
