Hi TW, I'm considering buying a racket from your Used Racket section. If I receive it and realize the condition and quality is not what I expected, will I get a full refund including the strings I purchased when returned to you guys? Thanks!

Not TW here, but I believe you get a refund on the cost of the frame itself not including strings. It's posted somewhere on their site regarding this. :)

Usually TW under-rates the used racquets. Not saying that this is the case for everybody. I had a D- Pure storm that was almost 8/10 condition.

I have found that TW is very rough on themselves when it comes to ratings, so you can find a good deal on a C/D racket, or get a almost new like A/B frame.
    I picked up 2 C- rackets that were 8/10+

As stated, I wouldn't worry about being disappointed in the racquets condition.

I bought a Pacific X-Fast Pro TW rated as C+. I couldn't find a scratch/scuff anywhere on the racquet. It was mint.!!!

    Hello all,

The grading details for used racquets are listed towards the bottom of the page that displays condition and grip size availability:

UNUSEDRacquet has not been hit with but may have minor cosmetic defects. May or may not have been strung.
Grade ARacquet is in excellent condition. It exhibits very little use; wear is evident on grip and grommets only. May have minor paint defects.
Grade B - Racquet is in great condition. It has been used and shows some minor cosmetic wear on the frame. Does not exhibit wear from play that exposes graphite. Frame is not damaged from strings as a result of poor grommet care.
Grade CRacquet is in good condition. Exhibits clear wear from groundstrokes in multiple places on the frame. May have paint chips and/or may have a very small amount of graphite exposed from play.
Grade D - Racquet is in OK condition. While the racquet is playable, it exhibits abundant wear on the bumper guard, paint, grip, and/or grommets. Frame probably has graphite exposed from ground contact.
Grade F - Racquet is in poor condition and not acceptable for trade-in. The cosmetic damage is through to the graphite in multiple places. Racquet integrity may be compromised or permanent customizations may have been made.

I do my best to adhere to the letter of these specifications (because, why would we even have the specifications if I didn't? ;-)) and, if in doubt, err on the side that might make a purchasing customer pleasantly surprised.

Andyroo10567, I believe yours was among a batch of racquets that I found to have the notorious PSGT rattle, but I am glad that you're satisfied with your frame. As a rule, don't cross your fingers for an 8/10 when ordering a D frame.

All in all, we're very lucky to have such a customer base as would trust in purchasing used equipment from us, no matter the standards. I hope you like the program, and feedback is always appreciated!

Both of the racquets had no rattle. Just a squeaky buttcap like most PSGT.

I got a B rated TFight 320 TP. Some scuffing on the guard is pretty much all it had. The paint and frame are spotless and the grip looks like new. Basically, you get what is advertised or better when you buy used from TW.

And, if you're patient, what you are looking for will eventually find its way to their used racquet section.
