For those of you who have seen the bare handle of this racquet,

is it supposed to have a molded foam handle or interchangeable pallets like Head and Volkl?

    Thanks.

I am asking this question because I just acquired a Dunlop AG300 through a trade, and I see a black interchangeable pallet on it like on a Head or Volkl racquet.

    I did not expect that.

    Thanks, nadalex and Tim.

I thought all Dunlops would have yellowish foam molded handles.

One thing I don't like about buying/trading racquets is that not all info is pre-disclosed.

Chances are, this racquet has been traded more than once, and the guy who traded it to me wasn't even aware of this modification.

I have never seen any interchangeable pallet on any Dunlop handle.
I have had all the 300 since the Hotmelt and even one AG200 and all the handles were yellowish molded handles.

    Here it is.

Looks like someone removed the foam handle and installed Volkl pallets on the hair pin.

You can remove any molded handle if it's just a yellow foam one, i've done it on some of mine. You just need to take your time and cut it off nice and clean.

Head pallets usually have the pallet code printed right under the grip size. This one has only the grip size printed, consistent with Volkl pallets.

There are several ways of doing this.

A few days ago I created a thread wherein I posted a link to a video that shows one way of doing this:
