Ok, now this may be the dumbest question ever but are you supposed to shift the position of your hand when you are bouncing back and forth between forehands and backhands in a rally? I just do this instinctively and it seems right to me. For a forehand, I have one bevel between the thumb and index and shift when using my backhand....and then shift back for a forehand. Someone told me this is completely wrong but I don't see how it can be. You can't play a backhand and forehand with the same grip position can you?

Please help. I suppose I need a lesson but what I do seems completely comfortable and natural.
