It has three pockets, a left, a right, and a HUGE middle that I fill with stray balls, towels, extra shirts, whatever...

Anyways, one of the pockets is just normal black vinyl, but the OTHER pocket is lined in some type of reflective material. Any idea why? That's the pocket I keep my racquets in. I figure it might have something to do with an insulative property to keep my strings daisy fresh?

I dunno. HALP TALK TENNIS. HALP.

.....which is nearly useless for any extended period of time.

pure snake oil, IMO. your rackets will be at ambient temperature in short order with or without the foil lining.

I know! That's what I keep telling these people that bring coolers to tennis matches with drinks and ice in them. I tell them it's pointless because their drinks will be back to normal temperature after an extended period of time...

I tell them that their ice will melt.

    ...but they keep bringing them.
