i have been wondering how they keep the weight the same for all the different grip sizes. i mean, wouldn't the same racket with a smaller grip size also weigh a little less than a larger grip size? do the manufacturers have separate machines each with a mold of the whole racket with it's particular gripsize? or do they have just 1 giant machine with just 1 general mold of the racket frame then send that frame off to separate grip making machines? what i'm trying to get at is, since im into head light rackets and my gripsize is 4 1/2, wouldn't it be better to get one in 4 5/8 and trim it to 4 1/2, yielding and overall lighter racket. then I add extra lead weight at the butt to make it even more head light?
