Question about the Bandanas

I wanted to ask a few things about the bandanas worn by Nadal and Federer:

1- Weren't they dri-fit? I looked at it right now and it says they are 100% cotton (the Nike New Swoosh Bandanas).

2- Did they just change to 100% cotton, or were they always 100% cotton?

3- Were they ever dri-fit?

To give just 1 example, Federer's bandanas in the '08 and '09 AO looked very thin to me, like they were dri-fit.

There are Dri-Fit versions. Dri-Fit is a lot, LOT thicker when folded up. Cotton is the way to go for a bandana.

1. Yes, they once were made of Dri-Fit
2. Yes, no one liked the bulk of Dri-Fit
3. Yes.

Nadal's Dri-Fit Electrolime bandana is a BEAST when folded up.

I see. Thanks for the answer.

I just thought a dri-fit one might be "better" than a cotton one, because of the sweat issue.

Why spend something like $8 for a bandana with a swoosh when you can purchase 3 classic cotton ones for the same amount of money?

Ok, this is an analogy... don't parse it to much.

Some people want B***. Some people are fine with KIAs. They're both cars and they transport people from A to B.

We want what we want. That's the point of my analogy.

I wasn't planning on it, I just wanted to know what the materials were to make my own.

I already bought a piece of fabric for $2.3 that gave me for 3 bandanas, but the material was some kind of stretch fabric and they only had it in white, so my bandanas are all white and I wanted them black.

I didn't buy cotton initially because I took some bandanas a friend of mine had (to find out what they were made of) which I think were dri-fit, not sure, but the material stretched. Those bandanas are really nice but they cost $10 each, so no. Plus I don't want the nike logo.

You can find them at army-navy stores, outdoors or camping stores and genral sporting goods stores and not have to make them yourself.
