can you compare the new Babolat Pure control Tour with the Dunlop Hot Melt 300G? I know there is a diff in swing weight and overall weight, but will add lead and a leather grip to each to get my specs.

Feel, power, maneuverability, etc.etc. the usual. Thank you sir!!

I have only hit both in stock form and they are worlds apart. The Dunlop has fantastic maneuverability but runs out of power for me at its stock weight. On the plus side it is very hard for me to over hit with that racquet. On the negative side it is harder to get the ball away. I like the feel as it blends crispness with a pretty comfortable response.

The Pure Control Tour comes in at a much better weight for me. It has a plusher feel which I also like more. I get tons of control and accuracy out of it and again I don't have to worry about the ball flying too much. I would have to add a lot of weight to the 300G to get it close and even then I'm not sure if I'd find the plush feel I love with the Pure Control Tour.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    Chris, TW
