Question for Paul: Tungsten Putty Application

    Cotton is used to block the tube creating a platform on the buttcap staples. I use a pencil to press the putty evenly onto the cotton. However, something else might work fine too. With the flat end of a pencil, a twist prevents the putty from sticking to it allowing the putty to stay in place after pressing it down into place.

    Ive been google searching where to get tungsten putty, and all I get is a bunch of links to "Pinebox Derby Cars" lol. Anybody have a purchase source for me?

    Awesome! Thanks for the help Paul.

    I found my putty from a fishing specialty store online.

    Not sure what brand's the best, the putty I've received seems more crumbly than I expected.
