I have a Babolat Pure Drive Cortex racquet and I recently purchased Signum Pro Poly Plasma 17L (1.18 ) strings. Should I string it at 55lbs for mains and crosses, or 55lbs for mains and 52lbs for crosses?

There's no one correct tension for everyone, so you'll most likely have to try different tensions before you find what works best.

That being said, both my son and I have used a PDR+ at varying times, and with a full SPPP job we both liked it at 46 pounds, mains and crosses, on a lockout machine. When we used to use non poly strings, we would typically string in the upper half of the recommended tension range.

I tried the SPPP on my ADP @58 and didn't like it at all, at least not at that tension. Could be fine at another tension, or in another racket.

I broke a string on a trip and didn't have a coil of Big Banger 18 or Cyberflash 17 with me so I went with the pro's recommendation for a 17/18 poly. As soon as I got home, I restrung with something I was familiar with.
