im currently using a babolat pure storm tour and was thinking of picking up a head liquidmetal radical mp.my pure storm tour is in a 4 and 1/2 grip size so i was wondering if 4 1/2 for a head racket is the same or do i have to go for a smaller size or larger.thanks

Good question. I used to play with Head LM Radical MP and had to stop because their 5 /8 grip would slip and twist in my hands when I went for forehands. I now keep it as a loaner.
    1. Babolat, Wilson and Dunlop use a square shaped grip:
2.Head uses a grip that is shaped like a rectangle so this may be a problem if you tend to like the above grip shapes.
3.I'd suggest going with 1 size higher but it would be best if you try a Head in a 4 1/2 first and then decide as we all know you can't reduce a grip size but can build one up.

I agree, the head grip shape is thinner. go with a size bigger than you would with babolat, prince or wilson.
