Monday is a good day to go. It's hard to say whether 4am would get you into Centre Court. I tend to pitch a tent the night before, and so do hundreds of other people. It's actually a lot of fun, very good atmosphere you make some friends and get pizza delivered to your tent. By morning there are thousands of people behind you in the line.
The tickets they reserve for people in line are limited but are the best - often front row centre court seats for an unbeatable day.
