Ok, due to folks been good at knowing the answer things need to get tougher here.

This racket was broken by an ATP player this year in one of the big tournaments. It was smashed at the conclusion of the match. Both players from Europe of not neighboring countries.

    Need clues?

I know Verdasco uses this kind of racket and (as already said) Melzer.

Verdasco was my first thought...but I don't remember off the top of my head if he smashed a racket this year...especially at a big event...

It doesn't look chrome-y enough to be a 300T and it has 19 crosses, so it has to be a 300. It's Verdasco's.

Almagro uses a PJ of a 500/500 Tour, not the 300.

Verdasco doesn't use a dampener that's a rubber band though.

Thanks. Didn't really look into it. Almagro was the first one to come to mind
who uses Dunlop and gets crazy.

Not Melzer (he uses the 300T, not 300 pj), not Verdasco (uses white grip and no dampener but power pads) not Almagro for obvious reasons.. not Robredo (doesn't use a rubber band dampener)

    I am stumped, honestly.

Melzer? Almagro has the 500 paint, and Robredo has the 600? Verdasco's doesn't have a dampener or tournagrip

Wow, I didn't catch that. Melzer, on the other hand, uses Tourna and a rubber band while Verdasco uses a white OG with no dampener. This would seem to be Melzer's.
Robredo uses a 600 PJ with a 16x18 string pattern if memory serves.

Perhaps Dunlop moved Melzer to the 300 PJ to mask his string pattern as Head did with Nole's "Speed Pro" to the 18x20 PJ.

Melzer, that's his setup and the racquet is grey, not black, so its a 300t paint
