    should have skipped madrid and maybe even an another clay court tournament. Bad decisions this year.

    that would make a nice top 8. I prefer to see more verdasco/federer/nadal and soderling/federer/nadal versus more gonzo or davydenko.

    Nadal would have lost to Soderling even if he played a smart schedule. He was crushed.

    Not at all, Nadal was 1 tiebreak away from taking it to a 5th set. I would use the word "crushed" for other occasions, in fact a federer/nadal GS final match is entering my head as I type. lol. :)
