    It is your website right?

Not much of a database - it's empty.

Would be nice to have a public racket database since the USRSA DB is member only. This new "empty" database should make it easier to add entries, like offering a GUI population tool rather than requesting authorization to add entries like:

    Head Size:
xx sq. in. / xx sq. cm.
    Length: xxin / xxcm
    Strung Weight: xxoz / xxg
    Balance: x pts HL
    Swingweight: xxx
    Stiffness: xx
Beam Width: xxmm / xxmm / xxmm /
    Composition:
    Racquet Colors:
    Grip Type:
    String Pattern:
    xx Mains / xx Crosses
    Mains skip: xT xH
    xxx Piece
    xxx Shared Holes
    String Tension: xx-xx pounds
Information gathered from (manufacturer, measured by owner, other-specified)

Im curious how such a entry format would be populated in the DB ?
    Hopefully not manual ?

I am the so called creator of the site and unfortunately it is all going to be manual. I will look into making it possible to allow the public to post the specs as well. the site will not include specifications of ordinary racquets either as those can all be found on TW. it is mostly for older or pro-stock racquets. If anyone thinks they can help with allowing a more public way to post specs dont be afraid to contact me through the email on the site. Along with the racquet specs i was also thinking about pictures, since many people do get confused between which racquets are which or the several versions or the same model. Any ideas anyone has are helpful and the site was only put up to get it out there and try to get some interest/ideas going. Still needs some color and some pictures!

Will not work if your plan is manual entries since you would have to have a full time person to continually update the large free format text entries I pointed out in my post above. I suspect you dont want to do this much daily data entry and you are not going to pay someone to do it, since your using a free site and dont even have your own domain.

Sorry, but just being honest based on my experience and observations on your initial post lacking details

Will be working to figure out a way to have a data entry system on the site. There is the ability for file posting and that may be an option. This site is not made to look spiffy or make me money. Domain can easily be obtained also, I just have not spent time on the site. I know that manual entries will be hard especially if the site does start receiving traffic. Within the next week I will look at putting some time into the site, if anyone has anymore tips or concerns feel free to post them!
