im thinking of adding about .4 oz of weight into into the handle of a ktour to make it more headlight.

can someone give me some instructions or guidelines to follow so that i dont damage the racket?

    Go metric young pplayer........

    0.4 ounces = 11.3398093 grams
If you use lead tape than is 1/2 inch wide
One inch of this lead tape weighs .5 grams.
So you are tallking about buying 1 pack
http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageACGAMMA-LEAD.html and using 22inches applied to the handle of you frame. I cover any lead use on the grip with a pass of electrical lape just to cut down on the chance of the lead leeching into your body via the grip.
Wear gloves and wash your hands after handling.
The grip size incrase should be minor. Burnish the tap and apply evenly to the handle.

I was thinking about adding some lead whenever I get around to increasing my Ktour's grip size. Let me know how it works out for you.

i don't think the sw will go up by that much since you're putting it in the handle, but the change in static weight will be quite apparent.

I've played with my friend's K90 so anything under 12 oz should be fine for me.

Anyone know how weight under the grip affects swingweight? It should still go up a little bit.

It'll go up a little, but it will be much more "solid" upon impact.

Go to TW University and find the Customization Worksheet. Put in the specs of the racket and what you want to add to it, and the math is done for you!
