Does anyone know where i can find and buy ( i will try and explain what they are) basically you attach the paddles to each side of the strings and it adds weight. These are used as a warm up only. They attach with a screw/nut to the strings. Hope i explained this so someone understands me.
    thx

    Then get the paddles.

I made some with velcro and cardboard. My kid used it as a fan. Cool.

Look for a product called the "pre-stroke trainer"--it's actually a weight you attach to the strings. I think you can get it at oncourtoffcourt dot com. I have had one for years--mine's on an older version of my current racquet and I use it a great deal for general strength training (not so much for a pre-match warm up). If you are just looking to create resistance, I suspect you could simply get some stiff cardboard (as above) or plastic at a craft store, cut it to size and use velcro to keep in on each side of the strings. Good luck.

or you could take your racket into the pool and do some shadow strokes there.
