I'm looking for racquets that come with crossbar like the POG and Head Monster (no special reason, I just think they are cool). Can you list the ones you know, so I can do a search on them?

Avery had at least one model.

My old prince precision graphite 640. Used by Medvedev. And me for 12 years. 95 sq. inches, 12.9 ounces 16 X 20.
Great stick! Mine were on the slightly heavy side, but I loved the demo so much, I had R.P.N.Y. make me up two identical frames. Best money I ever spent.

You know the Avery racquets are the same mold as the Prince Precision Graphite 640.

I didn't have a custom frame made from ****. This was around 20 years ago. I had frames identically matched by them. Before **** was ****, Roman worked for Jay Schweid at the same location. I'd had a bad experience loving a demo and finding the frame I bought felt drastically different, so when I decided on the prince precision graphite 640, I had the demo frame measured for flex, weight and balance and they matched the specs. Luckily, the frame I liked was on the heavy side, so it was easy. I didn't realize until they measured the flex that even identical models would flex differently. They also had the first digital stringing machine in NYC.
However, I'm sure that Roman could make you up anything. He's been in on the design of the new Donnays.

Didn't one of the versions of the HPS 6.1 have a cross bar?

Yep Prince Borons. GREAT racquets but generally maligned in the reviews. If you like POG OS, I'm pretty sure you'll like a Prince Boron!

I've always been curious, what was the point in putting a cross bar in the throat? Was it for more stability, and how does it feel with a one handed backhand(non dominant pull back hand on throat)?

Prince EXO3 Graphite has one. I don't like it though.

Stability. Someone cut it off and they noticed a difference.

I have a Wimbledon Boron Pro with double crossbars. Same as the Prince, and also made by Kunnan in Taiwan, but with a gold PJ.

Yeah picked em up at the flea market but they played like a dream. Small head for a kid just starting out but when you got the timing down... 3.0 was easy lol.

Head MG or YT Mojo. Both have cross bars. Of course, the old Prince Original Graphite.
