    Sorry to dissappoint you:

"What’s funny about Federer is that as extraordinary as he is on the court, he’s extremely ordinary off it. During his down time, you won’t fi nd him partying on Ibiza (an island off Spain). He’ll be too busy washing his four cars at his apartment just outside of Basel with his girlfriend, Mirka Vavrinec.

“The tour is so hectic, it’s nice to come home and do something peaceful,” he says. “I’ve won so many cars, and Mirka and I don’t want to let them get dirty. So we get out there with the soap and water. I particularly like keeping my white Mercedes nice and clean.”"

    Although it sure isn't a Kia :)

Very funny, but you don't have to be a hater to see this. The world has seen Fed's personality in full flight.

Jeez. Miss tennis for a few months and you have to wash your own crappy Kia and can't even afford a shirt.

And I hope Federer never wins 80+ straight matches on one surface, or a singles gold, or have a year where he wins slams on clay, grass and hardcourt etc.

According to your link Rafa isn't sure if he'll compete in 2012. Rio isn't in 2012, silly. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, you probably weren't even aware the 2016 Olympics are in Rio. You thought it was a tournament in 2012.... And you obviously weren't aware that Rafa announced his only goal is Rio 2016.

Just ignore Senti and forgive him for daring to make a comment on Nadal.
The bolded part reminds me of an honorable poaster who used to be around once upon a time claiming that Nadal had won some tournament named '2012'. He disappeared before the rest of us could get details on where this tournament was held.

I see you're setting the bar lower and lower for Rafa. But hey, I suppose that's the reasonable thing to do when he keeps failing you. ;)

Btw, do you know which surface Rio will be played on?

He made a guest appearance with another name Rafaaustralianopen2013 or something like that. I am sure the nadalwon2013 version would make his/her debut in this forum before Rafa gets back to Tennis court in 2013

Hardcourt. Rafa's only goal is Rio 2016. I remember back in 2010 he said "I've achieved everything I ever wanted to achieve". If it wasn't for Rio he'd have nothing left to aim for.

I won't touch the latter two, but Federer does have a 65 match win streak on grass, and a 56 match win streak on hard. He also has an overall win streak of 41 matches, and another of 35, and if I'm not mistaken both of those are higher than any of Rafa's win streaks.

We've also seen Nadal's personality in "full flight." Like say bumping into Rosol intentionally, or complaining to the ump when Rosol was doing nothing wrong.

*snort* Rafa's faithful fans were quite happy to see him washing his car(s).

Nadal is trying to endear himself to Fed fans by gaining some weight.

That "thing" is the top of a futon pallet. It's what college students sleep on, or poor people. So he's driving around a KIA and sleeping on futons. Cool.

What part of what I said was difficult for you to comprehend. Based on the article, since he is swimming every day, i was opining that at Rio, IN 2016, dear Rafa would be attempting to break Phelp's records.

    te comprendo amigo?

He has both. He had endorsements with Kia for years before he won his first Wimbledon Aston Martin in 2008.

    Where have *you* been?

Rafa looks so childish. He makes you feel like he needs being protected. Which is so funny because that's not the way he looks on the court during a match at all :) but in normal life, he does push the motherly buttons in me.

He has owned a Kia for several years. Kia is one of his sponsors and give him to drive as part of his contract....and he actually drives it a lot.

He washes his cars, but his mother says his room is a complete mess.

Like I said, he lost all his $ on the online poker site he is now sponsoring. People with severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder should not get involved in gambling. They don't know when to quit.
