Hi guys anyone here knows if nadals raquet has lead (gel, lead tape strips or whatever) at 3 & 9??

And inside the grip to counter balance????

and how much his raquet weights and more or less how many HH or HL points???(balance)

IMHO Its imposible his raq weights less than 400 grams (14 oz).....

    Thanks fellows.-

Nobody can tell you that but Nadal, or the people that costumize his rackets, as far as weight goes i dont know for sure but its <350 unstrung, balance is headlight i dunno how much, and if you use that high-tech search button you just migth find out something.

    From Greg Raven's site:

    http://www.hdtennis.com/grs/pro_racquet_specs.html

Just scroll down until you get to Rafa's frames (Pacific Life Open 2007 data)...

For weight balance etc. You should also look for Jura's list of specs from Roland Garros 2005... or 2004... can't remember what year it was from.

i think his racket weighs around 11.9 ounces i think but that is pretty light for a pros racket but i guess it wrks for him because he can wip the ball and get massive spin.

Look for a post from wimbledon this year. I tested his racquet for weight, balance and swing weight and posted them when I got back. I have now forgotten them ( a senior moment) but they are there somewhere.
    All the best Richard

add another 20 or so grams for string and you get around 337g - just under 12 oz.

The pro's swingweights aren't as high as I thought...

    I think even j0llyr0ger uses 400+ swingweight.

Given that those stats are for the unstrung weight, I assume the sw is also for an unstrung racquet, which would bring it up significantly when you add 15g - 20g for the string.
