Well we have already seen his stick, so I thought I would show some pics of his shorts. They are from last season.

Nice find. I remember that it was sold at Ross for $9.99.
Unfortunately, I've never seen it near my area.
Actually, I like to wear fed polo and nadal short ^_^

Are you sure you have seen them there? Im pretty sure they were made for Rafa only. I was only able to get them through contacts.

There were threads about this short. I am 99.999999% sure that Ross has it for $9.99. I wish I could find it but have not seen.
It might be sample shorts and one of discount store merchant buyer bought from Nike.

Hey Yonie, great find! It's definitely a pair of custom Nadal shorts, it has the same kind of Nike label without any size indication that is found on the Roger custom shirts and shorts; those labels are not found on retail or sample pieces.

Anyway, the $9.95 pair that the other poster found at Ross must have been tagged/priced wrongly, he did say that was the only pair available. No way it would have been sold correctly at $9.95.

    Great item!

I've seen it at least three shorts at bay.
I guess Ross merchant buyer purchased some of those shorts from Nike warehouse. Since it does not have the price tag, those buyers have no clue of the price so they just put $9.95 for the short. I tried to find the short and visit Ross store very frequently but could not find it. It must be very limited quanlities and randomly sent to certain stores.

    Thanks for your reply Fabfed!
And thanks for the information kimguroo I got the shorts from a friend, it looks like Nike randomly released a very few of them. Or maybe releasing those samples was an accident? Im pretty clueless there as well.

Yeah, Ross had them for under 10 dollars but I never saw them as well. Keep in mind, when Ross gets an item from Nike, they have no idea what it is besides the fact that it is a pair of shorts. Someone might recognize it as custom somewhere along the lines, but no one would take it into account when pricing the item.

Kimguroo, do you work at Ross or Marshalls or just frequent those stores often? I wish I had a contact at one of their distribution centers. I am sure that some of the people that populate the 'bay with nice tennis gear get their hands on it before it can even get to me, the normal consumer who buys from their retail outlets.

    Cheers!

no, I don't work for those companies but I frequently visit those stores. Fortunately in my area, there are more than 10 stores and I travel around town frequently so when I pass by those areas, I go out about thrity mins early then visit those stores ^_^
