the awkwardness between lyeton and kim was strong

roddick and novak were the only ones entertaining

but no microphones for fed, nadal, kim and sam kinda ruined the fun

Djokovic remains the best in these things. Funny as heck. I wish they included Juan Martin so rafa wouldn't be the only one who doesn't speak perfect english. It's getting more and more cringey for me when he has to struggle with it in group activities, but in pressers it remains cute :p

I think Federer and Nadal where awkward when they were playing with the girls, but once they became a team they didnt seem so awkward. Federer and Nadal seem to now know each other pretty well.

I know this is an exhibition but Rafa is striking the ball extremely well, really crisp power, and he was hitting full power on quite a few of his shots. I think that's the best idea anyway, exhibitions are most entertaining when the players hit the ball with power rather than the silly lolly-pop shots.

Yeah he sure does, I think I was still in US Open mode and forgot how much the AO surface suits Rafa, it really is ideal for the Rafa game.

On another note, I think Murray is the best in the world at hitting the tweener, he hits it with complete ease and simplicity like he's not even focusing.

Come to think of it the Bryan Bros would have made for great entertainment as well.

Yeah I think organizers forget to include the Bryan Brothers, it was a mistake to leave them out.

Nah, Murray was great at hitting those but he had lots of time to hit them. Federer seems way more natural at doing it. He doesn't need to make any adjustments, he sprints full speed at the ball and just executes the shot.

Federer's are very boring though, whereas Murray is a better mover so it looks more entertaining because he does it with a lot more ease. Murray never appears to be sprinting, because he glides. And Murray wouldn't do them in a match unless there was no other possible option, he's got too much class, and it's showboating to do it unnecessarily. Federer does it when its not required, pure garbage from pure garbage. I like it how Murray did about 5 of them today, as if to say "they aren't difficult at all, I just don't do them in matches because only showboaters pull that crap".

He's really great for these types of things. Novak, too. It's no surprise because they're the funniest in off-court interviews.

Murray? Not so much. He didn't really say all that much, though he made a few entertaining shots. At least they didn't have Soderling. Can you imagine him trying to be fun during an exhibition? On the other hand, it must be incentive for Monfils to get into the top 10 so he can be invited to this stuff (you know he loves this kind of an audience for his showy antics).

And about half-way through, Rafa looked like he wanted to shift from exho gear to grinding out a five-set win in mixed doubles.

Highlights: The two Andys' collection of tweeners and trick shots during that one point. Fed's around-the-net winner and that crafty passing shot against Rafa.
