I'm just kind of curious about what people are trying, and how they rank them. For me so far it's (all hybrids with Gosen OG Sheep):

    1) MSV Focus Hex 18L - loving the spin and feel, seems to be holding up!
    2) Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18 - great at first, but seems to have lost something
    3) Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 18 - I can't say i'm a fan of this -- feels dead

I'm kind of late to the party with all these polys, but I'm loving them! I'm a chronic string breaker, and I'm loving how these strings don't move around. I have some weiss cannon silverstring, cyber flash, and SPPP coming in soon.

Well, my list is very short since I got back to tennis this year( after a 9 years hiatus - just playing once in a while during this period ).

    1) Kirschbaum Pro Line 2 1.15mm - excellent poly, very comfortable, durable, plenty of control yet enough power. Since I play only at the weekends, it breaks before going dead, on the right amount of time

    2) Big Ace Micro - plays similar to PL2, but doesn't shine as much. A tad more comfortable and more powerful, and doesn't hold tension that well. But all differences are minimal

    3) Big Ace 1.22mm - tried that hybrid with Pro Supex Maxim Touch. Not as great as BAM, but very good anyways. Very, very under powered, but holds tension pretty well

    4) MSV Focus Hex 1.10mm - currently playtesting it, but didn't like. Somehow mushy, and seems to be heavier than PL2, raising the SW. Spin is there, but it's nothing that spectacular.

    5) MSV Focus Hex 1.18mm - just like it's thinner brother( or sister, depends on you  ) but worse in every aspect.

    1) Pro Hurricane 18. Hah, it's the only one I've tried! Yeah, I'm new to the poly scene, too... But I have about 5 other polys in my stash, just waiting to be tried.

I've only tried two so far, and I don't know if I'm willing to rank them yet. I tried 17g Pro Line II strung at 58 then 60 lbs. But that was a couple months ago at least. And now I have SPPP 16L (1.28) in one of my racquets strung at 55 lbs.

    I really liked PLII.

    So far I'm loving SPPP.

    1. BB Ace 18. Does it all well, but loses tension quickly and snaps after about 6-7 hours.

    2. DISTANT SECOND: TF Red Code 16. A whole lot like BB Ace 18, but with a more 'cushy' feel.

    So far I've used:
    ALU Rough 16L
    CyberFlash 16
    Lux M2 16 (free trial)
*all strung at 65x65 hybrid with Gosen OG or Gamma SG w/ Wearguard

I haven't felt much difference between them. I stick with CyberFlash because of cost.

haha...it feels so dead to me -- you should definitely give the MSV Focus Hex a try...although I've been reading great things about the Weiss Cannon Superstring...

    1) Cyber Flash / Scorpion / BB Alu Power / Big Hitter / Silver String
    2) MSV Hex / Blue Gear / Proline 2
    3) Competition / SPPPP / Premier Ace

The #3 are strings that I would never ever play with again, #2 are really good strings however they left something wanted for me, #1 string do everything I want.

BB Alu Power would be higher but it has various issues, the Cyber Flash is very simular to Alu Power, but CF also loses it's qualities after some time. Scorpion stay good for much longer, has more feel.

I would rate Scorpion and Cyber neck to neck and need further testing, I personally love strings that have a plush feel to them, I like my strings on the lose side, and like pocket, but still crisp.

Only thing that Big Hitter lacks is the plush feeling, other wise it is amazing and it's playability stay for a long time.

Hard to say what my fav. is out of those 3.

    2. Luxilon BB ALU Power 1.25
    3. Polystar Energy 1.25
    4. Kirschbaum Pro Line II 1.25
    5. Luxilon BB Ace 1.18

I've tried probably between 25-30 polys, and these are my top 5; none of them are bad---IMO they're all great strings. I hybrid everything with VS Gut in the crosses at 60/58 lbs if the poly is <1.30, but if it is 1.30, I'll string everything at 58 lbs.

back code18- best poly/copoly i've tried. soft for a poly, and is playable until breakage. tremendous spin. worth giving a full bed a try.
bb alu power rough- very nice feel for poly but goes dead after a few hours.
msv hex 18- good value, not as good a blackcode in any aspect.
isospeed pyramid 16- spinny, but doesnt hold tension for long.
gosen poly ice- good for the price, but you get what you pay for.
gamma zo power 16- stiff and nothing too special.

I am still very convinced the best for me is Topspin's Concept Pure...

followed by ALU Power Rough, then Spiky Shark, then Polyfibre TCS.

    Update

    1) MSV Focus Hex 18L - loving the spin and feel -- very comfortable!
    2) Luxilon ALU Rough 16L - great bite, but a little stiffer and harsh on the arm...
    2) Luxilon Big Banger Ace 18 - great at first, but seems to have lost something
    3) Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 18 - I can't say i'm a fan of this -- feels dead

    1. Luxilon m2 pro: Great control, spin, comfort, tension maintenence.
    2. Luxilon alu power: More power than m2 similar control, spin and tension maintenence. less comfortable,
    3. Babolat pro hurricane: Good control, spin, Great tension maintenence.
    4. Babolat pro hurricane tour: Good spin a little more than normal hurricane nothing to change strings over. Bad tension maintenence.

    1. Signum Pro Tornado 1.23 - vvery nice soft feel for a CoPoly, good spin and very good tension maintenance

    2. Signum Pro Hyperion 1.24 - not quite as soft feel as the Tonado, but more power, less spinny and EXTREMELY GREAT tension stability

    3. Tecnifibre Black Code 1.18 - good spin, nice soft feel and very good tension maintenance. Almost on par with the Signum Pro Tornado for me.

    4. Weisscannon Turbo Twist 1.24 - good spin, good tension stability, nice soft feel - almost too mushy for me and low on power. Great string, but only gets a Top 4 ranking

    5. MSV FOCUS HEX 1.18 - not quite as goos a CoPoly for me as the Top 4 listed, but its very affordable price and its nice playing characteristica makes it into my Top 5 of the best Poly strings at the moment

6 A. Signum Pro Poly Plasma Pure - a bit on the stiff side, but very good tension stability and nice solid Poly performance.

6 B. Weisscannon Silverstring - very much like the Signum Pro Poly Plasma performance wise. Great Poly string.

    7. Luxilon Alu BIG BANGER POWER. Very nice powerfull feeling, but loses all of its great advantages after just 2-3 hours for me and wakes up my old Tennis Elbow, if I don't trash the string after 3 hours of play. Used to be the best Poly string, not so anymore. Luxilon need some new updated strings with better tension stability and improved performance before I'll buy Luxilon strings again.

    8. Luxilon Alu Big Banger Rough - see above. Nice spin and good power. Loses tension even faster than the Alu BB Power does. I see why Federer changes his racquet every 7 games. This string just dies VERY FAST on me. Not in any way better than the Black Code or Tornado for me.

    9. Pacific Poly Force Xtreme 1.25 - nice poly performance, but too stiff for me and didn't like the overall feel of it afer thorough testing it last year.

    10. Luxilon M2 + Alu Big Banger Fluoro - mushy soft performing string. Loses tension too fast and not really my kind of strings.

    11. Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour - hated this string in almost every apect. Boardy like feel, if you can talk about feel at all, when discussing this string. As poor tension stability as the Luxilon strings and just not a string for me :(

    12. Luxilon Alu Big Banger Spin - same poor tension stability as the other Luxilon strings, but it didn't even perform the first two hours. No signs of extra spin, bad feel and just a dreadful string for me :(

For the money, Topspin Cyber Flash is still the one to beat.
The Signum Pro Tornado is my new favourite, but the classic Poly Plasma is still very much up there.
An oldie but goodie: Kirschbaum Super Smash. I also loved their Pro Line II.
Pro Supex Blue Gear is also right up there.
The Polyfibre TCS is a good string, definitely worth a try, just like the Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour. The Bab Revenge is good too, but just not worth the money (the Luxilon strings fall in the same category).
I have 2 sets of Genesis Spin X and Black Magic. I can't wait to give them a try!

I'm ordering some cyberflash now so ill see what that's like.
In terms of performance at it's peak

    1. Luxilon alu rough
    2. Black Code
    3. Luxilon alu power
    4. Luxilon M2
    5. Revenge

The last 3 all played well and i wasn't sure how to rank them

The strings i prefer based on all factors

    1. Black Code
    2. Luxilon alu rough
    3. Luxilon alu power
    4. Luxilon M2
    5. Revenge

Revenge died faster than the others for me and when it's dead it's an awful awful string. The others i could keep playing with for 10+ hours and be happy, whereas revenge was frustrating after 6+ hours or so.

Keep in mind used a hybrid with each of these with various multi's and syn gut

Basically i love black code and will go back to it if cyberflash doesn't amaze me

    1. Lux M2 Pro: fabulous string at higher tension with great control & power, and retains tension very well (after the initial tension loss). Great as a full bed and is soft enough not to cause arm damage.

    2. Kirsch Touch Turbo 1.25: great control and power, retained tension very well and not harsh - surprisingly soft on the arm actually.

    3. Kirsch Pro Line II 1.25: great control string - wasn't a high powered string, and that allowed me to take huge swings at the ball that resulted in big topspinners - very much near the top of the list.

    4. Lux Alu Power: hybrid or full bed this is one of the best strings ever made, just depends on how solid your arm is. Great power, control and sensation of a well struck ball combined with the sound is second to none.

Still testing SPPP, SP Hyperion, Prince EXP 17, Polyfibre

Garbage/non impressive strings: Pro Supex Blue Gear, Genesis Spin X, Black Code - didn't really impress at all, much better strings available.

Just played with the Spin X (1.23mm.) for the first time today for about 90 minutes. It's really good, just about up there with the Signum Pro Tornado: the perfect clay court strings. The price is virtually the same (in Europe at least) at around 100€ for a 200m. reel, so it'll be difficult to choose between the two. I'll probably break the string tomorrow, so I'll be able to give the Black Magic a try. If Tecnifibre would lower the cost of the BlackCode, it would also be a candidate for new favourite string. I really love these new generation co-poly's.

Thanks for posting. You guys in Europe are lucky because Tornado is way more expensive in the US ($176/reel vs $99/ reel for Spin X). I'm really enjoying using BC 17 but(as you noted) it's also highly priced at $170/reel. Spin X seems like a great deal!

Luxilon BB Alu Power rough 16L, 55 lbs on an n-code six one tour---great! maybe 52-53 lbs would feel better...haven't experimented yet.
Luxilon BB Alu Power fluoro 17, 56 lbs on the new BLX six one tour---great! will try this same string at 52-54 lbs sometime later.

As far as performance goes, a fresh set of Lux ALU rough is hands down the best poly I have played with. But because its playing characteristics decline so quickly that I can't use it very long, I wouldn't even put it on my top 5 list. In terms of value, performance, and playability:

    1 - MSV Hex 1.18
    2 - MSV Hex 1.10
    3 - SPPP 1.18
    4 - SP Hyperion
    5 - Weisscannon Turbo Twist

Yes I seem to have some kind of German string fetish at the moment.

    1. Luxilon Big Banger alu Power Rough 16L - Godly, insane amounts of spin and power, the poly in my opinion.

    2. Tecnifibre Pro Red Code 16g - Great string, good power and played well from all areas of the court for me.

    3. Luxilon Big Banger Original 16 - Great string, just like Rough but not as good.

    4. Pro Supex Big Ace 16g - Great power and nice for flat hitters

    5. Luxilon Big Banger alu Power Flouro 17g - Solid, but way too pricey, goes down a few spots because of it

    6. Pro Supex Blue Gear 16g - Insane amounts of spin, but no power or feel

    7. Luxilon Big Banger Alu Power - Dies way to fast for me

    8. Luxilon Big Banger Timo - Too much power

    9. Kirschbaum Competition - Nothing to write home about

    10. Kirschbaum Pro Line I and II - Worst poly ever invented
