I've used PHT in the mains only so far with gut crosses. It's very plush with so much spin. Plus it never has caused me any arm pain which is huge!

Do you rank B5E this high as a hybrid or full? I loved hitting with it fullbed, but it didn't seem to have a lot of penetration, plus my slice serve had so much sidepsin, I had trouble getting it in.

Note to self: get some TourBite. Can it possibly be better than BHBR?

It performs better in a hybrid, but it is still very good in a full bed. The problem with a full bed is what you mentioned: a lack of power.

Tour bite is a very unique string I think is worth trying at least once. It has ridiculous spin, but also has a surprising amount of power. It is best strung low, though.

    My last horrah...

All, I have been reading and loving mikeler's multis thread. I have used all of his top 3 multi's and cannot disagree with anything but ... durability! I am getting no more than 3 sets off of the string beds. I have 2 more I want to try.

RIP Control 17 (16 had the best durability but NO power).
Pacific Premium Power X Synthetic 16L String

After that, I have to enter the world of Poly. Here is waht I plan to try, I am looking for in order (tension maint, durability, arm friendly, power).

    1.) Luxilon M2 PRO
    2.) Tourna Big Hitter Blue
3.) Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough
    4.) Weiss CANNON MatchPower 16L
    5.) Weiss CANNON 6 Star Supercharged 16 (1.30) String
    6.) Weiss CANNON Scorpion

M2 is actually pretty cool, it definitely wasn't my favourite string but it played pretty well. I found it to be a bit too "elastic" for a poly as it really cupped the ball. I strung it in the mid 40's when I tried it however... Raonic uses it however so it can't be all that bad haha!

M favorite b5e hybrid was b5e/thunderblast. You could try that for a little bit of extra power, as long as you keep your tension low. The hybrid is still pretty low powered. I'd try something like 50/52 or 52/54.

Hi up and comer. What would you string tour bite for 1.25 and 1.30 full bed in a pro open

I have not hit with that stick yet, but spec wise it looks like I would use the 1.30 in the mid forties. That's just me, though.
