    Seriously.
Orange with green stripes on the sleeves,
then add some red, white and blue stripes.

McFly would be proud. The 80's are coming back and this shirt
    is totally awesome!

    Milos!

but I still hope James Blake crushes him. J-Block resurrection!

I meant proper English when I said bad. It looks ugly and the color is grating.

And James with those khaki shorts looks like he came off of the public courts.

That low wall makes him real dangerous. Blake wasn't helping you fans out too much either. :)

It looks fine and I would be willing to buy one if it weren't crazily priced as Lacoste gear usually is.
Y'know, just as many people who hate this shirt feel the same way about Nike and adidas' current designs. Nike's designs can arguably be said to be even more boring and bland. The designers/marketers probably think fanboys are style-averse and timid in their choices.

The Golden Age of tennis apparel stopped around the mid 1990s when Nike's baseball-inspired Supreme Court range for Jim Courier ended. (and the non-Agassi Challenge Court ranges as seen on other Nike pros Wheaton, Gilbert et.al)

Blake's hat looked like a retro McDonalds hat. Awful. Both candidates for What not to wear.

i can't remember ever seeing a pro wearing khakis . . . so i don't know what james was doing out there. i was trying to figure out what line he was wearing. at a certain point, i thought it was taylormade golf clothes. but since he was getting his *ss whipped, i figured there was no point to kicking a man while he was down, so i didn't mention it in the match thread.

as far as this thread is concerned . . . milos' shirt was horrific. i saw a couple of other guys wear it this week . . . i think gasquet even had it on. no matter, it's absolutely frightening.

i'm all for retro and all . . . but the shirt was not cute. i'm not sure why people are calling it retro, anyway. just cos it's orange??

Rodney Dangerfield's character from 'Caddyshack' (he was talking about some old hacker's golf hat) - great pop culture reference!

But Nike just had two stripe colors - Lacoste went crazy. Benneteau is wearing a white version - only slightly better.

    I dig it.

It's the trend of shirts with the patch of color in the center of the back are hideous though, like the K Swiss Fish had been wearing lately. Nico's Reebok had a silly black stripe up the center of the back too. And don't get me started on the Adidas line this summer.

Roddick's Lacoste gear is the best he's worn in recent memory, and the tour de france hat is even cool too.
