    Racquet change?

They say great tennis players hardly ever change racquets. How would one determine when its time to switch to a new racquet? I mean older technology can hold up for so long. Sooner or later wont modern technology will just be far more superior? Just looking for opinions :D

    Not always.

This is one reason why many of the classics are still praised. Inspite of technological advances, some modern rackets are going retro, ignoring gimmicks (such as the Redondo), to answer the needs of those who prefer to "control" the racket than otherwise.
