Raquet customization

    for all you pros~who customize raquets frequently...
    i have fxp tour and michael chang lb p5sq power level 690 blah blah....

    where should i apply the lead tape to get th e best out of the racquets.......tell me

    I would say take your all time favorite racket and try to match the balance of that racket.

    I have just added 36gm of lead above the handle of my FXP Tour but we have been in heat wave conditions ever since so no feedback yet.

    but the thing is fpx tour is my first racquet i started tennis this year

    There is no right or wrong. For long body and extended frames, it is usually not recommended to add any weight above the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. The extended length already increases the swingweight and adding more to the tip will probably not only cut down the maneauverability but also will throw the biomechanics off to possibly harmful levels.

    Best bet is a little at 3 and 9, an equal amount at the 6 o'clock and of course on the throat and handle.
