USRSA puts out a list of the top rated strings, rated for playability, durability and overall. They also have some string grids that tell more of the info you're interested in. I don't recall what issue the string grids are in, and how old they are, but if you're a member, you might want to call them and ask them.

I became a member of USRSA about 4 months ago because of the proliferation of strings, stringing styles, racquets, etc. I thought at the time that it was an extravagance I could have easily done without. However, since joining, reading the materials, and receiving strings from the offers, I'm now convinced it's the smartest move I've made to help my game.

You can get a free 30 day demo online as I recall. Go for it.
