I've done an extenisve search and still don't feel like I know the answer.

I play with the RD7 but had an opportunity to hit with the MP Tour 1 90 Mid for a week. I liked it alot, but wasn't crazy about the stringbed response. I felt like there were some dead spots. And since I felt like my RD7 had a more solid feel, I didn't switch. But 14 years with the RD7 is long enough: I want something lighter. I'm having trouble on those long clay rallies and I now S&V alot to finish points quicker -- so I want something in the yonex line that's a little more mobil -- and very low powered.

    Here's the question:
Does the RDX 500 Mid have a noticeably more uniform stringbed response than the MP Tour 1 90? Is it more comfortable?

Feel free to share any general comparative comments that speak to both stringbed's feel off center.

I'd also be curious about the difference between the MP and RDX Mid. Is it just a matter of weight or is one stringbed more even and predictable. Are the sweetspot sizes the same? do they have radical drop-offs up high?
