Yesterday I finally had a chance to play with my RDXmid strung with Ashaway Dynamite. There was an immediate boost in power and feel (at least 30%) over Prince Original Synthetic. It seems a crisp, powerful string works well in this racket, and there is definitely more than enough power, so all this talk of shortage of power is nonsense.

I think that *player rackets* are more sensitive to string types than more powerful tweener or widebody rackets. For example, my IPrestige mid felt horrible with Gosen Sheep Micro 17, but when I put in Technifibre E-matrix 17, it felt great.

Yes, I do feel there is a *big* difference between a good quality multifilament and cheap mono despite what what say. I'm sure that the multis are more than good enough for me and wouldn't consider going to natural gut at this point.

I don't know. The power level of Dynamite is quite high, and X1 is quite powerful, so the two might end up being too much, but maybe not ?
