My dad is a 55 yr old 4.0 player who is looking to improve his singles game (i.e. groundies) without losing anything from his dubs game.

He's irrationally loyal to his old wilson 6.4 power holes racquet. Dad uses a continental grip on every shot. He wants a light players racquet that is maneuverable at net and stable from the baseline. What racquets should he demo?

haha, that racquet is the worst rated racquet for arm/shoulder/wrist safety at racquetresearch.com

If he overhits a lot, then maybe a players racquet is in his future. But usually ppl around this age need more forgiving racquets with oversized + heads and head heavy balance.

Demo a mix of players racquets (Prestige/Ncode 6.1/300g) and some forgiving racquets (n5, liquidmetal8, more response).

And if this are too extreme, try some tweeners out for size. You can find them categorized on TW.
