I recently had foot surgery. I haven't played since and my old shoes are wearing out. I've played with Nike Air Court and Babolat Propulse 3. My surgery largely affected my big toe, so what, if anything should I be looking for in my next pair of shoes? Are there any others that would offer more support and protection? Help please.

I haven't had surgery but I do have a worsening bunion on my left big toe that makes all my existing shoes very uncomfortable. I'm wearing New Balance running shoes in a 2E width for my non-tennis activities and they seem to help. I was hoping someone has some feedback on their tennis shoes. Their top-end 1276's look like an option, particularly bcoz the mid foot area is snugly cut for my needs there while offering a roomy toe box. They also have a full-year wear warranty.

    Any users yet?

I think the Propulse shoes are the best out there in terms of comfort and stability
