I put an overgrip on top of the replacement grip. I tried Gamma Hi Tech, but after I added an overgrip, it felt like holding a log.

Skin Feel is a nice grip (I use it on my 4 5/8 rackets) but it would be too thin for my 4 1/2 rackets. I guess I'm looking for something thicker than Skin Feel, but thinner than Hi Tech.

Btw, that thread that lists different grip thicknesses is really helpful.

Skin feel with an overgrip that's the right thickness and density? It's easier to shop for overgrips rather than different replacement grips.

Maybe I should just refer you back to the link above.^

My preference is Babolat Skin feel with Yonex Supergrap OG. Just the right amount of cushion while still retaining the feel of the bevels. Similar to leather but more comfort.

Unfortunately, I don't know how it compares to the Skin feel, but the Wilson Pro Hybrid is on the thin side, still it's thicker than leather.

That's what comes on the 2012 BLX PS95, so if you can find one of those in a store, you can see what it's like without actually buying any.

Skin feel is probably the best option if you are looking for a thin synthetic grip. Couple that with an overgrip of appropriate thickness and you should be fine.
