I am interested in getting some lessons, I used to teach myself and am a 4.5 usta league player and senior (45's) tournament player. I've been playing a long time, and would like to improve my forehand, tactics, etc. any recommendations from the community out there

Depends on where you are and how far you want to travel.

Try USTA find a pro, or just google, or call up a few clubs in the area.

I take lessons from Ervin Saravia at the Burbank Tennis Center, and have nothing but good things to say. One of my friends takes lessons from Federico Browne (also at BTC), and has been pleased with his lessons.

    Hi Arthur,
What is your current playing style like? Are you looking for
dramatic changes and just fine tuning?

btw, I'm in the hollywood area if you want to meet up to hit.
(you can reach me through my TW profile).

I was very impressed with a segment Brett Hobbden did on the TENNIS CHANNEL a few weeks back, I even saved it to review. It was taped at Malibu TC, but I don't know where he's out of. He teaches classic strokes, (Fed, Pete), the "loop", etc. He has a web site.

Jose Higueras is at Smoketree in the desert, but he's probably busy with his new gig with USTA and at Paris at the moment, he's good. Dennis Rahlston is at Ironwood in the desert but may have cleared out by now for the summer.

Try craigslist, tennisopolis, and juump. Post and ask for pros.
