Does anyone know the rules as to when and what you can do in high school with coaches?
I know a few rules for D3 and they may apply to other divisions as well...if you as a recruit go to hit with someone on a college team, then coach CANNOT be present according to NCAA rules...there is another rule that makes it so if a coach goes to watch a recruit play at a USTA or high school event that the recruit is playing in, they aren't really allowed to have an in depth conversation with the player about the school and tennis program. That rule is one that I have seen broken quite a bit. That's all I can think of for now.
I suggest you read any one of a number of books on the subject- Available at your H.S. guidance office or the public library.
Here is another resource- The NCAA Clearinghouse, you know, the one you signed up for ($50) that allows coaches to see your SAT/ACT/PSAT numbers
and personal input? You are signed up, right?
