Does any company besides Babolat make their racquets with removable bumper guards? I know the Ti Radicals had removable guards, but that is no longer the case with the current radicals.

Also, the reason I ask is that I've removed a few on my babolats lately to make them more headlight, to great effect. Just place some lead under the grip as well, and you can give a racquet in the 10-11oz range the feel of a classic players racquet in a lighter package.

I've trimmed the bumper guard on several other racquets as well, but it's a lot more work and tends to look ugly.

don't know about the IG youtek models, but i could have sworn the regular youtek radical grommets, white teflon ones, were two-piece

I think only the older Babolats had them--like the Drive Z. Haven't seen them lately.
