    I went from the microgel prestige pro to the blx 309 gr because the prestige pro was getting a bit heavy. I loved the plush solid feel of the pp and have found similar comfort in the blx 309gr. I am now looking to replace the blx with a similar weight headlight plush feeling racket. Id like to try the Head Spoed Pro but I'm thinking the 16x19 string pattern is better for me. Also thinking of the Volkl V1 pro. I'm looking for some good suggestions on new rackets to try

    ericg is the new 6.1 95s an option? It has the same specs (309 gram) but with the stringpattern reversed (18*16 instead of 16*18 ). It also has a good review by TW

    I didn't think of the new 6.1 95s. I think I want to try something different. I'm now thinking I will try the new yonex vcore 310. Wasn't crazy about the old v core 310 so I'm not sure the new one will be any better

    @ericg,

    If you let me know the names of which 2 frames that you're exactly looking to compare with, then I can use a tool I have here to pull up some rackets with similar specs. LMK if that would be helpful.

    Racket Comparision

    Thanks Siobhan,
    I'm coming out of the BLX 6.1 95 (309gr) racket. I tried the new yonex G 310. Not for me. I'm now using the Volkl V1 pro I got about 2 weeks ago from TW in the USA. I like the plushness and muted feel of the Volkl but I think I would prefer a more headlight racket. I'm in Bangkok so demoing is tough. I've read the reviews of the wilson pro staff 95s and it sounds good. If you can compare my old blx with the PS 95s and the new 6.1 95s I would appreciate that.

    Thank You

    Eric

    You should look at the Pro Staff 95 and the Pro Staff 95S since you like plush sticks.
    The Pro Staff will have more control, easier access to spin and a (IMO) better feel.

    Thanks. I will buy the PS95S. I also played with the Microgel Pres Pro for many years and it's still my favorite racket. Just to heavy for me now. I felt that racket had a plush feeling as well and would love to find that same feel.
