Today, i thought I would built smaller grip size for my babolat pure storm tour, i took off synthetic replacement grip. i see some kind of plastic underneath synthetic replacement grip. I put one overgrip over plastic handle and it feel awful. I can actually feel that plastic w/o cushion feeling. I put one more overgrip and it feels better and smaller feeling.

It is not a best feeling as previous set up (1 overgrip over synthetic grip). I am thinking about put a new replacement grip over plastic handle. Does this easy as put overgrip? i mean overgrip has sticky duck tape when you put one. I don't wanna mess up.

    Has anybody done this?

I would like to hear it.

Overgrips dont have the sticky stuff, replacements grips do. The way i see it, you've probably using an overgrip as a replacement grips and a replacement grip as an overgrip. If you do this, thats why you feel the plastic underneath the grip while you play...

Just put a leather grip on my PST last night. Took less than 5 minutes. It is just like putting an overgrip on except it is sticky. There are very thin replacement grips out there, just do a search on it. Good luck.
