    Dear TW Posters
I've been testing the RPM Dual and Babolat APD 2013 and plus and will be reviewing them:
    I had a couple of combo's:
APD 13 and plus with RPM Dual at 53
APD 13 and plus with VS Gut mains Dual cross, mains at 53 lbs cross at 50.5
And the reverse hybrid at 52 mains 53 cross
My favorite was the VS Gut mains at dual cross, i think it is by far the best set up I've ever tried, RPM Dual is the worst looking poly but the best poly by a few miles. I preffer Babo gut over wilson and I like BT7 because I think wilson is too soft but I had a hit with the wilson gut in the mains and really loved it as well.

    Ground strokes:
I was getting amazing control, power and spin from the APD. It was god like and it really was helping me. The RPM Dual maintaned it's tension around 20-40 hours and even though I get free strings I didn't other to switch. The gut and rpm dual both held amazing tension and even when I restrung after 20 hours, nothing really changed so I easily could have gone up to 40, i'm not a string breaker! The dual is a bit stiffer abd RPM Team but a lot softer than RPM Blast and I produces more spin and power for the same control. i really loved this!

    Volleys:
Same as above, great control and With the hybrid I had amazing feel, even though it was great with full dual. This set up was really crisp and I loved the feel.

    Returns:
This racket is just perfect for hard reurns and I was having consistent return winners of 90 mph serves. dual on his own was amazing as well

    Serve:
Specially with the plus I was getting a lot more power than normal and my serve was on fire, this set up did amazing here as well

    Seperate marks:
Like TW I'll be giving my seperate marks for APD 13, plus, rpm dual, vs touch hybrid with dual and my favorie set up

    APD 13 left plus right
    Comfort: 70 70
    Feel: 80 77
    Serves: 88 92
    Ground strokes: 90 88
    Returns: 89 85
    Slice: 80 81
    Spin: 92 94
    Power: 90 92
    Overall: 93 92
    I loved it
RPM Dual and hybrid with nat gut in the mains
Power: 73 (I rank alu power with 64 and rpm with 62) 88
    Spin: 100 94
    Comfort: 74 89
    Touch: 74 90
    String movement: 96 94
    Playability: 90 98
    Durability: 94 94
Overal: 95 (best poly by far) 96 (best possible string, not only hybrid) also amazing with Wilson gut
I rank APD 13 with Gut mains and RPM Dual at 98, it is by far the best thing I've ever tried ever and it cannot be beaten, this is perfect for the modern game but also for serve and volley with full gut
This are the specs I used and I grade it once more
VS Leather grip, VS Grip original. 3 grams at 9 and 3 at 3, VS Gut mains dual cross rating: 99 (not 100 because everything can be improved, hard to imagine)
Same above with gut cross: 96.5
Sams as above with full dual 96.5

To place this review in context, have you had the opportunity to test the APDGT and if so, what scores would you attribute to that racquet? Thanks.

Note: rpm dual is Babolat's new creation, it plays like rpm blast but has more spin, power a bit crisper and soft like rpm team, bit stiffer. It holds tension better than 4g and just like gut
    It is amazing

RPM Dual holds tension as well as gut? I refuse to believe that.

His user name and command of the English language indicate that he's Dutch.

Yeah did a test myself and you are right but it's close
In 15 hours of hard heating and match play VS Gut lost 1.8 percent of it's tension in full, RPM Dual lost 3.2 in a full bed, impressive when wilson gut lost 2.6 and 4g around 5!

It depends, you usually only break strings if you are out of the sweetspot, VS Gut is durable, only tough gut is more durable. I have only 1nce broken a string in my life, that was when I was 16 and it wasn't gut. It holds tension better than anything and I usually play up to 20 hours with it and then replace it, not because it broke but I like new strings and its FREE! I get 3-4 hours on RPM Blast, sometimes less.

What did you use to measure tension loss? I know when I use racket tune poly usually looses a lot more tension then what you recorded. Not doubting you or anything since I haven't used RPM Dual but I'd just find it hard to imagine!

I have a little thingie, don't know how to describe, I'll post pic later, that i put/clip to the string bed and it says what the tension is, I strung both in 2013 APD, one full VS Gut, RPM DUAL and I had done this test already with previouse APD and wilson gut.
After 15 hours of play I measured it again and voila! It's that easy
