How do they hold up to sweat vs. the regular nike featherweight hats?

If you are using it in a match, then use a featherlight hat, Rogers hat does collect a lot of sweat, but when you take it off it looks very gross. If you want a hat to feel like a hat should then i recommend it, but if you don't like to see your hat drenched in sweat then i recommend feather. I have rogers 2010 french open style color of hat, it shows sweat a lot.

I just got the new gray/blue one, love the color and fit (featherlights and the nadal hats look weird on my head) but I play indoor because I'm in cold weather and my featherlights get soaked, get the white sweat-stains until I wash them. I def don't want to ruin the hat. Can you wash the RF hats? If you do do they maintain their shape?

I've got a white one - needs a good clean. Any tips on the best way?

I have the limited edition Colombia one. Wore it 3 or 4 times and it's trashed. You should wash it probably after every use or 2.

The two I've had and washed lost a bit of their colour (they were light blue and dark grey hats)... The shape is still fine but after sweating in them and then washing them only twice they ended up with visible colour anomalies.

I did them in warm water in a sink and hung dry them as the instructions say. It made no difference. I just buy unbranded hats for playing in now. They do the job.

thanks, I don't mind the color loss I just don't want the brim to get all soft. I prefer a structured hat more but also don't want to ruin a $20 hat in one use.

A little anti-bacterial hand soap and water and an old toothbrush - a few minutes of scrubbing.

I don't like the way the feartherlight hats fit. I usually just throw my RF hats in the washer machine on cold delicate cycle with woolite, take them out and let them air dry. They seem to have kept their color pretty good over time.

The RF hats work just as well. But if you sweat a lot, you need to wash out the hat after you play under some cold water and let it dry. If you let the sweat dry instead of washing it out the first couple of times, the hats will develop a sweat ring for some reason... at least mine did until I figured out the secret of just rinsing them out.

Never dry these hats in the sun as they shrink
